Amazon just jumped the gun and sold someone a Moto Z4, a smartphone that Motorola has yet to announce.

Thanks to that, the Lenovo sub-brand's next Moto Mod-ready device has already been revealed, from its specs and features to its pricing.

The Unannounced Moto Z4

Over at Reddit, the user JETFIRE007 posted what happened (via Droid Life). As the story goes, he found a listing on Amazon for the Moto Z4, even though it's not even official. He placed an order for it, and believe it or not, the retailer shipped out the phone.

Now, according to the said listing, the smartphone sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ OLED FullVision display (2,340 x 1,080) with a Max Vision 19:9 aspect ratio and a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and underneath it is a fingerprint reader. It's apparently going to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675, an Adreno 608 GPU, and 4 GB of RAM.

It's going to provide 128 GB of native storage that's expandable up to 2 TB via a microSD card, and out of the box, it'll run on Android 9 Pie. The phone in the listing is an Amazon-exclusive model, meaning it's preinstalled with Amazon apps and Alexa. It seems there's also going to be a standard, unlocked variant in the cards too.

It houses a 3,600 mAh battery with a 15W fast-charging system and a USB Type-C port. On top of that, it's coming with a 3.5mm headphone jack, and since it's a Moto Z phone, it works with Moto Mods, just to be clear. Its main camera is rated at 48 megapixels with a 12-megapixel output via the manufacturer's Quad Pixel technology. On the front, it has a 25-megapixel snapper.

Also, it's going to be compatible with every major carrier in the United States, namely AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

It's priced at $499.99, and that's for the configuration with 128 GB of storage. In addition, it's bundled with a Moto 360 Camera Mod.
