Just ahead of Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference 2019, Samsung has taken the wraps off a new line of Notebook 7 and Notebook 7 Force model, all of which seem to have taken design cues from the MacBook Pro.

As the naming scheme suggests, the Notebook 7 Force stands out from the pack, boasting an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650.

Notebook 7 Force

Under the hood, the laptop sports a 15.6-inch Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) display and has an eighth-generation Intel Core processor and, as noted, a GeForce GTX 1650. It can be configured to have up to 24 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of SSD.

Other distinct features include a fingerprint reader and backlit keys. It also has a 43Wh battery, but at the moment, there's no estimation on how long it'll last on a single charge. Considering its graphics card, though, it probably won't keep the lights on as long as the other Notebook 7 models.

Its specs doesn't come as much of a surprise since it's geared toward designers who need some graphics processing power or laptop users who want to do a little gaming on the side.

Now the Notebook 7 comes in 13-inch and 15-inch versions. The latter is available in two models: one with an internal GPU, just like the former, and another with an external GPU.

The smaller variant has a 13.3-inch Full HD display, while the larger one has a 15.6-inch Full HD display. Across the board, they all have an eighth-generation Core chip, up to 16 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of SSD, a fingerprint reader, backlit keys, and a 55Wh battery.

As mentioned earlier, the 15 incher can be configured to have a GeForce MX250, and unlike the 13 incher, it features an expandable SSD slot.

All in all, Samsung is unveiling four Windows 10 laptops: the 13-inch Notebook 7, the 15-inch Notebook 7 with an external GPU, another with only an internal GPU, and the Notebook 7 Force, which is the premium offering in the lineup.

The South Korean brand will start selling the 13-inch and 15-inch Notebook 7 laptops with respective starting prices of $999 and $1,099 on July 26. Meanwhile, the Notebook 7 Force will hit the shelves and start at $1,499 on the same day.
