Purported case renders of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 have been leaked, giving a close look at the handset from just about every angle.

They more or less align with what the rumor mill has been churning out regarding the South Korean brand's next flagship, but there's one detail that likely comes as a disappointment to many of its fans: the lack of a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The Dongle Life

As reported earlier by SamMobile, the leaked renders come from a case maker via Sudhanshu Ambhore, a tipster on Twitter.

From the top to the bottom, there's no sight of a headphone jack. If these turn out to be true, then future Galaxy Note 10 users will have to rely on dongles or something along those lines and Bluetooth audio devices to listen to music and the like.

Another fan-favorite feature that Samsung is rumored to remove is the microSD card slot, meaning that users will have to turn to cloud storage or other solutions such as offloading files to a PC or whatnot if they want to save some space on the phone.

It also seems that the Bixby button has been taken out of the picture, as the sides only show the volume rocker and, presumably, the power button.

One more thing that's interesting here is the wider cutout on top that's said to be for an IR blaster. With this feature, users can turn the handset into a remote control for TVs, air conditioners, and other supported appliances. However, this is only a rumor, and nothing has been set in stone just yet.

The Renders

The Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10 Plus sport a similar design, save for a few key differences in terms of the camera and size. The two are featured in the leaked renders, but going by them, it's difficult to tell the size differences between the models.

As always, this should be taken with a grain of salt since it's just a rumor, after all. At any rate, it won't be long until the official details are out, as Samsung is scheduled to take the wraps off the Galaxy Note 10 on Aug. 7 at an event in New York City.
