It's official: Sony now has its own online store with physical goods such as a PlayStation 4, games, and accessories.

Thanks to this, fans can cut the middleman out of the equation (sort of) and directly buy stuff from the company itself.

PlayStation Sets Up Shop

This goes without saying, but it's not a revamped version of the PlayStation Store or something along those lines. Sony explains that it's integrated with PlayStation.com and contains product pages for hardware, games, and such.

In a blog post, the company outlines what fans can expect from the new storefront, which will only have a couple of titles to start things off. At that, it'll only carry 12 games for now: Astro Bot: Rescue Mission, Blood & Truth, Bloodborne, Days Gone, God of War 3 Remastered, Horizon Zero Dawn, Marvel's Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition, MLB The Show 19, Quantic Dream Collection, Ratchet & Clank, The Last of Us Remastered, and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.

Speaking of MLB The Show 19 and The Last of Us Remastered, the two make up PlayStation Plus' free games for October, which was announced as part of the State of Play presentation for September.

Other items on the website include the Platinum Wireless Headset, DualShock controllers, and the PlayStation VR headset, among others.

To celebrate its new shop, Sony is also offering two console bundles: a PS4 with a 12-month PS Plus subscription for $339.99 and a PS4 Pro with a 12-month PS Plus subscription for $429.99. These are available until Oct. 31 only, and those who grab these can save $20 or $30, respectively.

In addition, PS Plus members get to enjoy free one-day shipping to boot.

Sony's new store is open only in the United States, and based on its blog post's wording, it's being touted as a more convenient way to give gifts.
