Call Of Duty: Mobile For Android And iOS Is Now Live

Call of Duty fans can now take their favorite game on the go on their Android or iOS devices.

Activision just announced that Call of Duty: Mobile is now live and available for download. It was off to a rocky start, with players reporting getting stuck in the loading screen, but it seems that the issue is already fixed.

Call Of Duty: Mobile Goes Live

In a blog post, the company made the new mobile game developed by Tencent Games and its TiMi studio official.

Call of Duty: Mobile is free to play, featuring content such as recognizable characters and familiar areas like Nuketown and Hijacked from the universes of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Black Ops. At that, John "Soap" MacTavish, Simon "Ghost" Riley, and Alex Mason are unlockable in-game characters.

It has an action-packed multiplayer and various game modes, including Team Deathmatch, Gun Game, Search & Destroy, and Frontline. It even has a battle royale mode that puts 100 players head-to-head against one another, which is more or less expected, given the popularity of titles like Fortnite Mobile and PUBG Mobile.

On top of that, the game gives the player free rein (almost) on customization, from weapons and loadouts to vehicle camos.

To celebrate the launch, the game is also holding its first global community event called "Lighting up the World" where players will get more rewards as more users download and start playing the game.

Call of Duty: Mobile is now available to download for Android devices via the Google Play Store and iOS devices via Apple's App Store.

Log-In Issue

As noted, plenty of gamers have reported that they couldn't get past the loading screen, taking to Twitter and Reddit to voice out their complaints. The problem was that the servers couldn't handle the traffic they were getting when the game launched, but according to Activision Support, the issue has been resolved.
