Rockstar is in the Halloween mood right now, bringing in aliens and other cool stuff to Los Santos and San Andreas. The Halloween Event will last until Nov. 16.

Alien Warfare

Rockstar has added the Project 4808 to the game's Survivals mode. Just like earlier versions of Survivals, you get to team up with three other players while you try to fend off enemies.

In Project 4808, you play as aliens who will have to survive heavily-armed NOOSE teams, police forces, and the FIB. Armed with a laser gun, you get to live out your Area 51 fantasies (but in reverse) while earning double XP during the event.

Rockstar describes Project 4808 as follows: "The new Alien Survival Series lets you play as an extraterrestrial, fighting off wave after wave of heavily armed NOOSE teams, FIB agents and the Marines across seven maps."

Along with Project 4808, the new update also earns you double rewards when playing the Slasher, Slashers, Lost vs. Damned, Condemned, Come Out and Play, and Beast vs. Slasher game modes.

Project 4808 came just in time, as it reminds us of the upcoming Destroy All Humans remake, developed by THQ Nordic.

Pimp my ride

The update also makes two new vehicles available for purchase. The Lurcher Hearse and the Fränken Strange vehicles can now be bought at the in-game store. The two vehicles will only be available during the Halloween Event.

You could also try your luck by spinning the wheel at the Diamond Casino. Get the right slot and win a Rampant Rocket, a car that has one of the highest acceleration stats in the game. It's a great way to obtain the Rampant Rocket, as buying it from the in-game store would set you back by $925,000.

You could get the Rampant Rocket through the wheel until Nov. 6.

Twenty new ghoulish Bobbleheads can also be purchased to pimp out the dashboards of any of your customizable lowriders.

Dressed to kill

New attires are also available to help you express the Halloween spirit. Two shirts are up for grabs for free until Nov. 6, available at the Diamond Casino. Along with these two shirts, new masks, sculptures, and wall arts are also made available for purchase.

The Diamond Casino itself is dressed for the occasion, with diamond skulls replacing the normal diamonds raining down the casino's LED screens.

Finally, a dozen of attires are offered at a discounted price right now, all of which are Halloween-themed. Get up to 40% off when getting these spooky clothes.

Twitch Prime users also get a special deal, availing them an 85% discount for the Weaponized Tampa and Brute Armored Boxville items.

I Am the Walrus

Finally, the Halloween Update also brings the peyote plant to GTA Online. Just like in GTA V, eating the peyote plants in GTA Online transfers your consciousness to animals after a short hallucinogenic episode.

There are 76 peyote plants scattered around Mt. Chiliad in-game, but there's no real reward from collecting all of them. Turning into an animal, apparently, is the reward itself for collecting them. Get lucky, and you might even turn into a Sasquatch.

Dying while you're in the body of an animal will respawn your character to the nearest hospital, and will net you 5,000 RP each time. Thankfully, finding all 76 peyote plants isn't that hard.
