There are many good reasons to get an Air Fryer, from healthier recipes, easier cooking, and having the benefits of a convection oven in a smaller package. There are also many good reasons to get a smart home, being able to control your lights and television by voice command, having your assistant do your shopping for you, and probably soon, even guard your house against intruders. It's great to have the world at your fingertips, or at your beck and call, and it's even better to have your cooking appliances in that list too.

We're going to be comparing Amazon's best Air Fryers, but there's a catch, they have to be controllable via your smartphone or home assistant.

Air Fryer Roundup

The Proscenic T21 is a large 5.8QT air fryer with plenty of space to cook everything from fries, pizza, chicken, or cake. It's eight cooking presets, namely: Fries, Shrimp, Pizza, Chicken, Fish, Stake, Cake, and Bacon, lets you cook whether by frying, baking, grilling, and roasting according to your recipes needs. It comes with plenty of recipes available to test its different functions and is perfect for all cooking levels. It's also easy to clean with a detachable non-stick basket that is dishwasher safe.

It can be controlled via its touch panel and LED display, via the ProscenicHome on your iOS or Android device, as well via Alexa commands. Its smart functions allow you to preheat the oven, schedule the fryer start, and monitor the cooking status, all seamlessly through its smart functions. Just make sure it's connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network.

COSORI Smart WiFi Air Fryer

The COSORI Smart WiFi Air Fryer stands toe to toe with the Proscenic T21 with most aspects. It has a large 5.8QT capacity, fitting entire 5-6lbs rotisserie chickens. The removable non-stick basket is also dishwasher safe and easy to clean. It has 11 cooking presets - Steak, Poultry,  Seafood, Shrimp, Bacon, Frozen Foods, French fries, Vegetables, Root Vegetables, Bread, Desserts, and Preheat - with more than one hundred recipes to make the most out of them in its companion Vesync app.

It has an angled display where you can find the touch menu as well as the LED. It can similarly be controlled by the Vesync app as well as Alexa remote commands. It's supported by Alexa devices once you add the Vesync skill to the Alexa app. The COSORI fryer also only supports 2.4 GHz WiFi, just like the Proscenic.

Amazon Smart Oven

The Amazon Smart Oven would have been easily the best recommendation given its spec sheet, it work's as a 4-in-1 microwave, convection oven, food warmer, and air fryer. It's sleek, compact, and it's the smartest item in the lot. With over 30 different presets, all controllable seamless via Alexa, and the option to scan-to-cook food for select packaged foods, it's the most simple one there is.

There are, however, three caveats to it. Firstly, it's easily the most expensive of the three. Secondly, it isn't as good an air fryer compared to others who are air fryers first and everything else second. Lastly, it's not going to ship until February 2020, so it definitely won't work as a last-minute Christmas present.
