Activision published a blog post at the closing of the year to give a quick glance at the latest multiplayer map called 'Raid.' Don't mix the multiplayer map with the Zombie Raid mode. This map is playable in Team Deathmatch, Free-for-all, Domination, Hardpoint, and Frontline game modes.

Familiar Territory

The Raid map is a callback to the past. It was first featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (2012) and then reappearing as 'Empire' in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 (2015). The classic map has been remade in Call of Duty: Mobile in a new snow-themed skin, complete with holiday fixtures.

Those who played over the holidays would be familiar with the new landscape from their experience with the Prop Hunt game mode. In Prop Hunt, a team of players has to hunt down an opposing team disguised as various holiday props. The limited-time game mode features minor prizes for winning them, with the limited time event active until Jan. 14.

Call of Duty: Mobile's version of 'Raid' is divided into three 'lanes.' It's most suitable for sniper rifles thanks to the wide free spaces and long clear shots that snipers could enjoy in this map. There's also plenty of high ground for sharpshooters to exploit, making it easy for the eagle-eyed competitors to snipe their way to victory.

Players who prefer short-range combat will have to use the plentiful cover provided in the estate. They'll have to time their advance well, as the middle lane actually has an almost clear line of sight from one spawn point to another. Having this info beforehand could help you plan out your movement and avoid an early death.

Season 2 Rush

Grinders should know that Call of Duty: Mobile's season 2 will end in two weeks. There's still a lot of time to catch up and earn unique 'Reindeer', 'Aurora Borealis,' 'Alaska,' and 'Glacier' camo skins for your weapons and operator modules. Buy the premium battle pass to get a limited edition 'Alex Mason' and 'Ruin - Jade' operator skins.

The Call of Duty: Mobile premium tier battle pass is available in-game for 440 CP. The Premium Pass Plus, which will help you get ahead fast with 25 instant levels, is available for 860 CP.

Active Duty Missions

Some limited-time events are currently active, including the MQ-27 Dragonfire Drone tasks. Until Jan. 12, players could accrue points in multiplayer matches to get MQ-27 Dragonfire Drone, as well as a 'Technologic' skin for your HG-40 submachine gun.

In Battle Royale mode, a BR Snipers Only event is active until Jan. 9. These tasks require players to win BR matches using only sniper rifles. Completing tasks will earn players Fearless Soldier crates, which has a chance of containing the operator 'Lav Kravchenko' for use in multiplayer matches.

The alternate multiplayer game mode 'Gun Game' also has a set of tasks revolving around the match. By completing tasks will also help players accrue points for Fearless Soldier crates, just like in BR Snipers Only event.
