CES 2020 is in full swing here in Las Vegas, and we've seen some really cool stuff so far. As the leading convention for consumer electronics, we're sure that many readers would get excited about these products. Most of these will soon be available in our homes, as tech companies use CES as an opportunity to showcase their latest and upcoming products. Take a look at some of these awesome tech goods.

T7 Touch Portable SSD - Access Files With Your Fingertips

Samsung's newest pocket-sized SSDs are now safer with this new innovation: fingerprint-scanning external SSDs. It's certainly not the first as fingerprint scanning SSDs are already in the market, but Samsung's T7 Touch is the sleekest-looking, most portable option out there.

It supports USB 3.2 Type C, which helps in transporting your files faster and in a much more secure way. If you have delicate files you need to be stored, this is a great product for you. The T7 Touch will cost you from $130 for its 500 GB model up to $400 for the 2 TB model.

Owl Home - Back to Basics in Smart Home Security

Security is very important to us, especially when it comes to homes where our families live, dine, and sleep. That's why smart home security products are all the rave these days. But sometimes, too complex products could end up doing more harm than good when the products' own security systems fail.

That's why Owl Home aims to keep things simpler. Doing away with unnecessary security cameras and microphones, Owl Home goes back to the basics with smart sensors. It could detect smoke, carbon monoxide, motion, sound, and even help regulate room temperature, all communicated through end-to-end encryption to make sure none of these data could be used for harm.

The device's functions and controls are accessible through the Owl Hub, which uses a proprietary platform, meaning there are no third parties handling the Hub. It's also compatible with Google Home, Amazon's Alexa, and IFTTT.

Vision-S Concept Car - Sony Taking The Wheel

Back in CES 2018, Sony revealed that it was partnering with car manufacturers for future vehicular technology. However, Sony is determined to become its own captain and take the wheel in terms of smart car tech development.

Thus, CES 2020 became the venue in which Sony unveiled the Vision-S Concept Electric Car. Powered by Sony's own AI technology, the self-driving car could go for as fast as 149 mph (240 km/h) and could accelerate to 62 mph in 4.8 seconds.

As a concept car, we can't expect this beauty to hit the stores anytime soon. Sony will most likely further develop the idea first before unveiling a final product sooner or later.

Nreal Light Mixed Reality Glasses - Plug and Go MRE

VR headsets used to be heavy, unwieldy, and clunky. Nreal was able to make one that fits like regular glasses. A huge improvement from their product last year, Nreal Light is finally foldable and connects directly to your Android Phone.

With it, you could open apps and place them anywhere in your periphery within the Mixed Reality Space. You no longer need two monitors to watch Netflix while writing a paper - you just need these glasses, and you'll be able to multitask to your heart's content.

VRE and MRE are looking more promising by the day. Thankfully, the Nreal Light is priced fairly. For all the technology's worth, the glasses themselves will be available early this year for only $499. A developer kit will also be available for $1199.

Bonus: Coke Energy!

It's not what you'd expect when we say 'tech product,' but it's too interesting not to share. Coke surprised everyone with the launch of a new product, the Coke Energy drink. It packs four times the punch than a regular Coke, so maybe this is your actual choice now for all-nighters instead of coffee.

The drink can be bought in special vending machines in CES 2020, but it will soon roll out on Amazon, according to Coca-Cola. Right now, the Japanese people are the only lucky ones actually to have these on their shelves, and we super envy them right now.
