The Apple AirPods with a regular charging case is the most budget-friendly option in the sale. It's a second-generation AirPods with the newer H1 chip, as opposed to the older W1 chip. The newer generation boasts new features such as quicker pairing, a more stable connection, and that it can switch between devices twice as fast. It has up to 5 hours of use in a single charge, and a total of over 24 hours of battery life with the charging case. All you lose is the ability to charge your case wirelessly, but the AirPods themselves will be the same.
Down $30, it's the biggest sale and best value amongst the AirPods lineup as of the moment.
Apple AirPods with Wireless Charging Case (Latest Model) - $30 Off
The Apple AirPods with Wireless Charging Case is the same as regular Apple AirPods. It features the same 2nd Generation AirPods, 5-hour battery life, and "Hey Siri" always on. But users who have embraced the Qi wireless charging life are better off getting this, as it's only $30 more than the regular AirPods bundle. The Same Qi Wireless charger used to charge the iPhone 8 until the latest iPhone 11.
iFixit teardowns of the iPhone 11 Pro Max show that Apple has included the hardware necessary for the iPhone to charge AirPods and other devices, but have not implemented it on the phone. This means that Apple may add the feature on a future iOS update.
Apple AirPods Pro - $15 Off
The Apple AirPods Pro is the most expensive and most feature-rich amongst the AirPods. It has Active Noise Cancelling, or the ability to block the unwanted noise such as traffic, vehicle engines, and other ambient noise. Apple also implemented a transparency mode, where it's able to use the same microphones to play the outside noise, letting users hear other people without having to remove the AirPods Pro.
The AirPods Pro also features a redesign in its hardware, now using silicone ear tips for a more secure fit less prone to falling off. Of course, it still has all of the features of regular AirPods, such as the H1 Chip, Hey Siri, and a wireless charging case. Apple boasts a 4.5-hour listening time on a single charge and over 24 hours with the wireless charging case.
There's a catch though, the Apple AirPods Pro is "temporarily out of stock" and won't be shipping for a while. But that's no reason not to get it now because ordering it now locks the order to the sale price. If the sale ends before the AirPods Pro comes back on stock, it will have to be at its regular price.
