It seems that even the rich and famous are not immune to the COVID-19 as Vietnamese heiress has contracted the virus while attending fashion week shows in Milan and Paris who proudly flaunts her travels on her Instagram account.

Nga Nguyen, the 27-year-old daughter of one of the steel magnates, went to attend the Gucci show in Milan last February 19 as well as the Saint Laurent show that took place in Paris on the 25th. The South China Morning Post reported this.

When and Where Did She Get Sick?

She reportedly was tested positive for the illness along with her sister, 26-year-old Nguyen Hong Nhung, based on local news posted on Friday, Mar. 6, a few days after their trip to Europe. She has always been posting pics of her nomad lifestyle by frequenting London several times and going home to Hanoi for a breather. 

The heiress reportedly documented her time in fashion week on her Instagram account. Her account, as of the time of writing, is already deleted because most probably of her contracting the illness along with her younger sister.

What Happened to The Attendees?

After attending fashion week, a number of celebrity profiles, as well as buyers of everything that is fashion, have since quarantined themselves. After hearing of the news of the virus spreading rapidly from large gatherings and as well as how there are now two strains of the virus, people from Milan and London who attended the shindigs are now doing self-imposed quarantine.

What About Europe Right Now?

In Italy, where about 16 million people in Lombardy and other parts of the north are now under quarantine are feeling the sickness now more than ever. There is a growing number of deaths about 133 now that was reported only yesterday, bringing a total of 366. Not to mention more than 7,000 people in the country have been confirmed to have the coronavirus in them.
