On the other hand, PS5 only released its new logo that the console will be having, but Sony confirms no further details regarding their much-awaited new console.

Their specs and game designs are now all out on the internet-- the companies themselves announce some, but most are based on rumors only. Interestingly, people are now more interested in finding out the prices of the newest gaming consoles than their specs.

How much is PS5 or Xbox Series X?

According to reports, both of the consoles will be having more identical prices. Normally, the range prices of both consoles would be no more than $500 each. Apparently, the prices-- if these are accurate-- are already not bad since the older models of each gaming console brands range at similar prices with half a thousand dollars.

However, if you are going to buy that new console, their prices will not be your only problem, but the entertainment upgrade it would need in your home. What does this mean?

PS5 or Xbox Series X cost more than you think

As first reported via BGR, PS5 and Xbox Series X will require all of their customers to purchase and upgrade their gaming TVs with 4K or 8K screens.

For example, Series X is said to support 120Hz gameplay at 4K or 8K screens and requires you to buy a new TV, monitor, or projector with support for HDMI 2.1 connectivity-- to achieve better gaming.

At the same time, Sony might also require you to purchase better gaming sets since PS5 will only support 120Hz at 4K gameplay-- just like Series X.

As we looked at Amazon, a quality Samsung 4K smart TV already costs over $2,000. If you will search for an 8K screen TVwith the same brand, Amazon gives it for a much expensive amount of over $4,000.

If these prices do not bother you, you might as well start on buying that new entertainment set now for your home. Or if you are feeling broke, you still have until holidays to save higher than $1,000 for guaranteed impressive gaming nights.
