According to The Hollywood Reporter, gaming usage has seen a massive climb of up to 75% during the peak hours after the quarantine went in full effect last week.

Now, Nielsen has also predicted that streaming will also see a significant spike, reaching up to 60% amid the coronavirus pandemic. With that, several streaming services are already making deals to make people stay at home happily.

Streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and Amazon Prime are believed to gain from the current situation significantly.

Acorn TV

Acorn TV is a streaming service that is available in several countries in North and South America, Europe, New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa.

It offers a 30-day free trial for new members when they use the code FREE30 upon signing up. After your free trial, the monthly plan costs $6, or you can get it for $60 per year.

Acorn TV specializes in shows from the United Kingdom, including Midsomer Mysteries, which is a murder mystery series, as well as Doc Martin, which is a popular medical dramedy.

Sundance Now

Sundance Now is owned by the AMC Networks and is an excellent source of various dramas and documentaries, such as the highly acclaimed miniseries entitled The Little Drummer Girl.

Different from others, Sling TV is an internet TV service wherein a variety of channels are shown. For now, it's offering thousands of hours of programming for free, including ABC News Live, where people can stay tuned with the latest coronavirus updates.
