One of the most iconic scenes of the original Final Fantasy VII game is when Cloud appears with a dress and hair extensions on, and fans were delighted to see the scene appear in Final Fantasy VII Remake in a modern and fully rendered standard.

If there's anything wrong with the scene, it's that it's not long enough for every fan--this is where mods come in, and there's a good one for fans who absolutely loved Cloud in a dress.

More Cloud in a Dress

According to Polygon, an FFVII Remake fan on Twitter with the username Pryna modified the game's save data in order to create an alternative version wherein all-around cool guy Cloud is in a dress and hair extensions, ready to beat up some villains and even bust a move.

Sharing the magnificent mod to everyone on Twitter, the posts quickly garnered thousands of likes.

Pryna shared several embeds of clips, with one showing Cloud in a dress while confronting one of Shinra's top dog, Rufus.

There's also a clip of Cloud in a dress while battling Reno and another one in Honey Bee that includes rhythm game components, making his dance steps look better compared to when he was wearing his usual outfit.

Even after players finish the first part of Final Fantasy VII Remake, there are still a few things they can do, including battling and obtaining the secret summon from Chadley, as well as re-playing the entire game in Hard mode.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2

There are around 40 hours of content available for the first FFVII Remake game, but everyone is still wanting and asking for more.

Good thing, the development team back at Square Enix are one step ahead of us.

"We've already begun working on the next one as well, but I'm confident that playing through this title will expand your expectations just like the world that extends beyond Midgar," game director Tetsuya Nomura said in a blog post from last November 2019.

GameSpot also interviewed FFVII Remake's game producer, Yoshinori Kitase, who said he didn't mind working on the game and committing to it.

He even said that it was an "important thing" and that their team is not taking a break from working on it.

Nevertheless, it's still unsure when it will arrive, although it is unlikely that it will reach a five-year gap or so, especially when the groundwork for the game has already been set, including the gameplay and battle systems.

How Does the Story Continue?

When it comes to where the story will go, Kitase-san confirmed that they wanted to hear what the fans thought and are looking forward to reading some theories from the players on social media.

But besides that, they did not give any hint as to how the game will continue, especially with that crazy ending of the first part of Final Fantasy VII Remake.

In addition, Square Enix will continue using Unreal Engine 4 on the next episodes of the game.

For now, all the fans can do is wait for further announcements as to when the next episode will arrive.
