Huawei Making Big Moves

Already, Huawei has launched several smartwatch products, which include Watch GT series as well as the Magic Watch line of Honor, which is its sub-brand. Still, the company seems to be planning on making something more expensive to rival the Apple Watch 6, which would cater to the more high-end clients.

The source is from the Chinese trademarks by MyFixGuide, which shows Huawei is considering a product called "Huawei Mate Watch." This seems to be based on the Mate name from the company's top-end products like the Huawei Mate 30 Pro smartphone.

Huawei's latest wearables like the Huawei Watch GT 2 are moderately priced products, so the company will choose to contend with the upcoming Apple Watch 6 for a more luxury watch under this new brand.

If there's such a wearable in the works, we might soon find out. The most probable release date is about September or October-that's when we plan to see the Huawei Mate 40 smartphone, so it will make sense for the business to announce the Mate smartwatch along with similar-named smartphones.

Apple Watch 6 Rumors

Unlike the iPhone, Apple didn't screw around with the Watch name arrangement. Since the original was followed by the Apple Watch Series 1, the company has followed sequential numbers each year.

It is therefore highly likely that this year's watch will be called the Apple Watch Series 6, succeeding in the 2019 Apple Watch Series 5. The new watch will run Apple's watchOS 7, which is coming to a conference this June.

Despite these rumors for Huawei's new premium smartwatch, we should all take it with a pinch of salt because nothing is set in stone, given that there has been no news about it. It's legitimacy except for the behemoth of a company that is Huawei that was able to acquire a trademark for the name, Huawei Mate Watch.

What is legitimate, however, is the smartwatch that Huawei is already pushing out, which is the Huawei Watch GT2E, which also a perfect smartwatch that you might consider buying for yourself.

The specs for the phone would be 53 x 46.8 x 10.88 mm in size, 43 grams without the strap, comes with various colors, which are Graphite Black, Lava Red, Icy White, and Mint Green. For the software specs, it has a display of 1.39 inch AMOLED, with a 454 x 454 HD ratio, 4GB of RAM, a sensor that includes all the bells and whistles, and a battery life of two weeks and is 5 ATM water-resistant.
