Personal Hygiene Products

This is an obvious one, but there are still some people who to sell their electronic razor or electric toothbrush. Even if an individual only sells the untouched brush head, the electric toothbrush's handle might still have some of the salivae of its previous owner.

Smart Home Device

Since companies or manufacturers are having trouble preventing video doorbell and camera feeds from suddenly showing up in the wrong person's account when the devices are new, buying a used smart home device might lead to a security breach.

Portable Hard Drives

Selling used external drives should be reconsidered since they are often used as an easy way to store important documents or to back up computers. An individual risks exposing their personal information by selling their used portable hard drives to an unknown buyer, unless they properly and thoroughly erase its contents.

Baby Monitors

There are some cases stating that baby monitors can lead to hacking incidents since the used tech device can record sensitive information heard from inside the house. Parents may also feel more comfortable knowing that the device they will buy to record their newborn baby wasn't used before by some stranger.

Over The Ear Headphones

Since the earpads can soak up its owner's sweat, sanitizing over-ear headphones won't be an easy task. The earpads can also develop crusts of dead skin and grease shed from the owner's face. You might want to reconsider buying a used headphone since most of the models don't have a way to swap out the earcups.
