Have you ever get interested in what outer space smells like? Of course, if you're not an astronaut, you wouldn't know the answer. Not until today. Are you willing to buy the space smell for only $15?

You Can Buy Outerspace Smell at NASA

Whenever you watch a certain space film or watch live streams of space countdown, have you ever wondered how space smells like? If yes, here's the answer to your questions.

A startup company named Eau de Space perfume, developed by Steve Pearce-- a chemist and the founder of Omega Ingredients, a company focused on the "creation of the highest quality, provenance driven, natural flavors and ingredients for the food and beverage industry," recently released an interesting way for you to know what kind of smell do astronauts smell whenever in deep space.

Using their own chemical experiment process, and with the help of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the company launched 'Eau de Space' perfume that stimulates how outer space smells like, inside a small cologne bottle.

"What does Space smell like? We connected with NASA to bring the world's first perfume, independently verified by actual astronauts, down to earth," said on the Kickstarter page

If you want to buy it, fund them on Kickstarter

The funding of the production for the product is not yet done, as of now. To fund its development, the San Francisco-based company posted its product on the biggest funding website, Kickstarter.

As of Tuesday, June 30, the funding of the Eau de Space already reached nearly $60,000. Aside from that, it already has over 1,600 backers, with only 47 days to go until it ends its promotion.

The project is scheduled to end on Aug. 17 at 3:31 P.M. EST. So if you're interested in backing the project, going to Kickstarter and fund as little as $15 up to as much as $120.

What does outer space smells like?

There are a lot of things that you can ask an astronaut. But it is not really common to ask them about what outer space smells like. But, according to Peggy Whitson, an astronaut and former resident of the International Space Station in CNN's 2002 interview, outer space smells like something smokey.

"It's kind of like a smell from a gun, right after you fire the shot," said her. "I think it kind of has almost a bitter kind of smell in addition to being smoky and burned."

So if that's the type of smell, you like for yourself or your special someone, buy the product now for $15.
