The Apple-Fortnite battle has begun again. As of now, Apple's App Store convinces people that Epic Games was the one that 'created the problem.' Even warning the company that they will not give any 'exceptions' on the dispute. Here's what happened.

Apple has not yet given up on the issue of the Fortnite dispute. In an interview with The Verge, the company accuses Epic Games of creating the problem between the two parties.

Despite this, Apple said on the statement that they are still willing to fix the issues between them. After all, Epic Games' Fortnite has been one of the most played and downloaded games on the store. Once Epic Games finally removes its initial decision to have its own-app payment system, Apple will revoke the decision.

"We very much want to keep the company as part of the Apple Developer Program and their apps on the Store," Apple says in a statement to The Verge. "The problem Epic has created for itself is one that can easily be remedied if they submit an update of their app that reverts it to comply with the guidelines they agreed to and which apply to all developers."

Here's what Epic Games has to say

Epic Games has not yet answered the recent claims of Apple. However, according to its recent statement via GameSpot, the gaming company shows that it may not easily be swayed to remove its initial decision, especially now that the company filed another case against the tech giant.

They now accused Apple of targeting-- not only Fortnite-- but all the Epic Games businesses that were unrelated to the case, specifically Unreal Engine.

"Not content simply to remove Fortnite from the App Store, Apple is attacking Epic's entire business in unrelated areas," the filing states.

The gaming company even called Apple's action as the company's 'retaliation' against them.

"The ensuing impact on the Unreal Engine's viability and the trust and confidence developers have in that engine, cannot be repaired with a monetary award. This is quintessential irreparable harm," added on the filing.

Quick background of Apple-Fortnite dispute

On Aug. 13, Fortnite was removed on Google Play Store and Apple App Store for its application of an own-app payment system.

Both online stores accuse Epic Games of violating their guidelines when it comes to the developers' payment method. After all, once the feature is applied, a 30% cut will be removed from the stores.

Epic Games answered back against Apple through its parody video of 'Nineteen Eighty-Fortnite.'
