Choosing the right class in World of Warcraft? A real headache! Don't panic, we are here to guide you.

We have presented you in the past the choice of race in World of Warcraft Classic, we will now present its complement and main choice when creating its character, the classes.

Each class has its own specificities, and have a different importance and impact depending on many aspects: leveling, PvE, PvP but also the importance of the role in a playgroup for example. We are going to present these aspects to you for each class.

The different classes available in World of Warcraft Classic

Shaman

Class reserved for the Horde, the shaman can, depending on the chosen specialty, be as much a healer as a good character with DPS. He is a character who is notably based on buffs thanks to these totems. We find as main strength his ability to Heal, his movement speed from level 20, and a certain ease in the leveling part with this mix between dps character and healer character. However, the shaman will require a lot of mana from you. On the PvP / PvE side in groups, the shaman will be much more called upon to be played as a healer in PvE while in PvP, it is his role as dps that will be much more effective.

Hunter

The hunter is one of the most varied classes, and the most interesting if you are entering the game for the first time. Accompanied from level 10, it allows a fairly advanced development in DPS while having a companion who can tank. The leveling, even when playing only partially, is done very comfortably. Especially since in World of Warcraft Classic, the pex and farm phases will be very frequent and in this, the hunter is a luxury choice to speed up these phases. However, places in your inventory will be limited. Between ammo and food, you won't have too much room.

Warlock

Like the hunter, the warlock is accompanied, by a demon this time. If you are looking for a dps access warlock whether on direct damage or over time, he is one of the preferred classes for the high level in both PvE and PvP. It uses a lot of control skills making this class a must for raids for example. Just like the hunter, the warlock does very well in solo leveling, especially since you won't have to worry too much about the whole heal part, handled by your voidwalker who functions like a formidable tank. You can make this character better with wow classic boost.

Druid

We continue in the momentum of versatile dps with the druid. A true Swiss Army knife, the druid is also one of these very fast classes in terms of leveling, his ability to change shape is a real not insignificant bonus. In PvE, his ability to resurrect makes him a staple of groups. Despite all of its advantages, this is a little played class and therefore, you will be in demand. Your leveling will be increased tenfold from level 20 on the other hand thanks to the feral form. In addition, depending on your specialties, you will be more or less accepted in dungeon and raiding groups.

Warrior

Excellent in Tank, the warrior can also wreak havoc in dps. The class has several advantages such as its increased resistance, and mastery of almost all weapons. However, you will have to take your troubles patiently because it is a very long class at leveling. However, its usefulness as a tank will give it pride of place among all dungeon groups.

Magus

Do you want dps? The mage is a brand choice. Class always in demand, the mage is a bit unmissable in the matter. Its many control spells are essential whether in PvE or PvP. On top of that, it's a fairly easy class to assemble. On the other hand, you will have to learn to perfectly manage your mana and also have a good group with you otherwise you will not survive long.

Paladin

A class reserved for the alliance, the Paladin is a must-have class. Very good healer, with a free mount at level 40, there are many perks of the class. However, expect to go through a fairly steep leveling sequence. Its strength lies in its blessings, very useful in PvE and PvP. On the other hand, it is a class that is very expensive, making leveling long.

Priest

Care, who said care? Yes, who says priest says healer. Despite its fabric armor part, we have one of the essential classes of PvE / PvP. Leveling long up to level 40, Priest is a class where the willingness to play in the service of others is felt quickly. What also works well with this class is its ability to do well in dps as well.

Thief

We end with the rogue class, the thief. You are looking for a dps character that stands out, you have come to the right place! King of PvP, the thief is also a preferred choice in PvE groups, in particular because his three specializations are playable and usable at a high level.

And you, which class will you take?
