The Center for Disease Control and Prevention released a statement to the United States federal territories and lands that a Novel coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine will be made available on the 'Day of the Dead' or November 1 to health and essential workers just right before the 2020 Presidential Elections.
CDC advises the 50 US Federal states and the five major cities of the country to prepare a mass vaccination to health care workers, high-risk groups, and essential personnel for the coronavirus towards the end of October or right at the very start of November.
CNBC reports that there will be two immunity shots (A and B) to be administered for the COVID vaccination program. However, this surprise announcement will accommodate only one shot for the vaccine, called Vaccine A.
Presently, CDC asks for the cooperation of all US states to expedite approval of the mass vaccination program to ramp up the medical supply needed. The public health agency also added that specific permits and licenses are required to be waived to speed up the approval process. CDC wrote the said letters to state governors last August 27.
The CDC tasks McKesson to set-up vaccination sites in all of the country. Pfizer and Moderna are currently the two biopharmaceutical companies who are the furthest in its human trials phase and vaccine development.

CDC seems to be in a rush to administer the coronavirus vaccination to health workers and high-risk groups with its tight timeline schedule by November. CDC further explains that waiving these licenses would not compromise Americans' safety and the integrity of the products to be used.
According to CDC Director Robert Redfield, the states' cooperation with the process of approving the vaccination is critical to the stemming of COVID-19 in the country.
The United States will keep up to its promise of a vaccine by the end of the year, but with CDC's emergency approval and request, the process would be done right before the year ends.

The Daily Mail states that a massive supply of COVID-19 vaccines would be available for the US from several biopharmaceutical companies.
October could bring two million doses for 'Vaccine A' and one million for 'Vaccine B' by the end of the month. Fifty million additional doses for the first vaccine and 35 million for the second dose would be made available by the end of the year.

NIAID Director, Dr. Anthony Fauci, M.D., says that current vaccines show a potential and advantage for the people who were administered with the trial phase. Fauci noted that trials would even end early if results prove to be satisfactory, KHN reports.
Fauci further shares that the medical companies procuring a vaccine are not "politically biased" with their rush to finish and submit the vaccine as early as now.
US FDA chief, Stephen Hahn, on the other hand, says that the agency is ready to bypass any federal processes to make the vaccine available for mass administration.
Despite two of the US health standards' statement's leading agencies agreeing with the vaccines' approval, several medical experts still fear the rush to procure a vaccine. Dr. Stephen Thomas, a vaccine developer for SARS, Ebole, and MERS, stated his concerns and skepticism revolving around the immunity shots.
