Tesla has previously been able to compete with the car industry itself by beating the Honda Civic for California's top-selling car and now, it has landed another title! The new title is pretty memorable because it is about Tesla's accomplishment outside of the United States

The Tesla Model 3 sales for August have finally come in and showed a really big increase in vehicle demand all around the world. In August, Tesla's most popular model was able to snatch away the title for the best-selling electric car this August of 2020 in Australia!

There were about 6,000 plug-ins being sold in Australia this current year resulting to about a 65% increase from the same period of the previous year according to EV-sales. At the very same time, about 69% of the registrations actually belonged to the fully electric vehicles.

The very main reason for these good indicators within the country was due to the emergence of the new Tesla Model, which actually accounts for about one-third of the plugin registrations all around.

Tesla's sales skyrocket in Australia

All the way back in August, Tesla, was able to sell a total of 292 Model 3s snatching up the 1st place.
