Worksport will hold an open Video Conference and Q&A Session with investors on Monday, Sept. 21, at 5:00 p.m. EST via YouTube Live with its CEO Steven Rossi hosting the online event.

"This is an open and unscripted Q&A session that we aim to make a frequent habit as we move forward and grow," said Rossi.

Worksport is a Toronto-based pickup-truck accessories manufacturer. It develops innovative, functional, and high-quality tonneau or truck bed covers for light trucks such as the Nissan Sierra, Chevy Silverado, GMC Canyon, Dodge RAM, and Ford F150 and F-Series.

Rossi will be ready to answer online questions, so he encourages everyone to participate in the event by sending their questions in advance or during the live discussion. "We aim to answer any reasonable questions, but as a reminder, we cannot answer any questions relating to non-public information," the CEO noted.

Those interested in joining the YouTube Live event may just visit Worksport's YouTube channel or send their questions in advance to connect@worksport.com. Meanwhile, the conference will be recorded and will be made available immediately after the event, so those who cannot attend may view it at any time.

Investors or shareholders can receive updates on the company's projects by following Worksport's social media accounts such as FacebookTwitterInstagram, and LinkedIn. They may also sign up for the company's newsletters via www.goterravis.com and www.worksport.com.

Worksport's Terravis System

Worksport recently rolled out its Terravis system, a pickup-bed cover with built-in solar panels. The panels store power from the sun in bed-mounted batteries, which can power tools and appliances while at campsites, job sites, or any far-flung locations.

The company aims to launch the Terravis system "within 12-24 months of funding." Currently, Terravis is still in the design and funding phase, and the online event is a way to encourage more investors to back the project.

According to the Terravis website, the solar system will "provide meaningful power for the forthcoming electric trucks," although the range may not be too great. Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted in November 2019 that he seeks to solar panels on the Cybertruck. He said that a solar power panel can generate 15 miles per day, so he is looking for putting up more panels on the truck. "Would love this to be self-powered. Adding fold-out solar wings would generate 30 to 40 miles per day," said Musk adding that the average daily travel in the U.S. is 30 miles.

Meanwhile, Hyundai has a solar roof set up on its new Sonata Hybrid could provide two miles of range per day, but it is quite smaller than Worksport's.

The pickup truck market is keeping up with the trend towards "solar power and renewable energy sources." "Our system is being designed to, among other things, provide a meaningful source of energy for the new wave of electric trucks," Rossi said in a statement.

While the Terravis system will fit gas-powered trucks from the 2010 model year and later, Worksport plans to develop models for upcoming electric pickups once they become available.
