Pokemon Sword and Shield will accompany you to celebrate the upcoming Halloween with a spooky Max Raid event. Get ready as more dark and ghost type Pokemon, such as Grimmsnarl, and Gigantamax Gengar, will start appearing more frequently in October's Max Raids.

Other spooky Pokemon, including Dusknoir, Hydreigon, Morpeko, Drifblim, and their evolved forms, can also be seen more than usual. Gigantamax Pokemon are rare outside of events, meaning that this celebration is an excellent chance for trainers to collect them.
The Halloween Max Raid event will be available until 4:59 PM PT, on Oct. 31. However, users first need to refresh their Max Raid dens before the Pokemon event starts appearing in the game.
You can do this by going into the Ministry Gift menu, choosing the "Get the Wild Area News," or simply connecting the Y-Comm online.
On the other hand, it was reported that The Crown Tundra, Pokemon Sword and Shield's next DLC expansion, will also be launched on Oct. 22. The upcoming expansion will take players to an entirely new area filled with returning and new Pokemon, including Galarian Slowking.
New gameplay features and items, such as the Ability Patch, will be showcased in The Crown Tundra expansion.
What will The Crown Tundra DLC's new Pokemon
The Galarian Slowbro is a dual Psychic/Poison-type Pokemon. It was previous introduced in the Isle of Armor DLC. The Galarian Slowbro is just like the standard Slowpoke, which evolves into either Slowbro or Slowking.

Although the Pokemon company didn't release any confirmation yet, it provided some insights on the games' official website, explaining that Galarian Slowpoke's evolution happens when a Shellder bite sets off a reaction between its secreted chemicals.
On the other hand, Galarian Slowking is considered as the Hexpert Pokemon, which communicates by chanting mysterious incantations.
