Harry Potter: Wizards Unite has now started to celebrate the October month with a magical touch. If you love Harry Potter and dreaming about joining the Houses, this is the perfect time to join in on the squad and have the Sorting hat measure the real Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Slytherin, or Gryffindor, in you.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite needs your help!
Since it's October, the whole Harry Potter: Wizards Unite will also change, slightly leaning towards dark magic. If you think you're a Slytherin, you've got to be part of the whole October challenges of the game.
As of now, the first week of the Harry Potter challenges are already happening, initially started on Oct. 2 and ending on Monday, Oct. 5.
If you're still planning to join the event, the challenges will take you on the weekend with the Dark Arts Foundables, including Thestrals, Percival Graves, and Tom Riddle.
Players also have the chance to receive a Dark Arts Runestone after returning event Traces.
Quests and Rewards:
- Complete 10 Wizarding Challenges with 3 or more teammates - 1 Powdered Dragon Claw
- Defeat 25 Foes in Wizarding Challenges - 6 Snowdrop
- Earn 2000 Dark Arts Family XP - 2 Strong Exstimulo Potions
- Return 25 Portrait of Voldemort Foundables - 3 Dark Arts Level 5 Runestones
- Return 20 Percival Graves Foundables - 10 Spell Energy
- Return 15 Tom Riddle Foundables - 10 Spell Energy
Going back to the third quest, earning at least 2,000 Dark Arts Family XP may be too huge for many players. However, Wizards Unite Hub has a quick tip for you.
"Over the next few days, return every Dark Arts Foundable you find! This will help you earn more Dark Arts XP now, which will help you earn more Dark Arts Runestones. Once an image is ready to be placed, STOP. Wait until Wizarding Weekend begins before you place the Dark Arts Image in your Registry," said on the page.

Darkness Rising Brilliant Event Week 1
Date and Time: Oct. 6, 11:00 a.m. PT to Oct. 13, 11:00 a.m PT
What you need to do: Help return Brilliant Foundables from the Knockturn Alley, including Poachers and Snatchers.
September Makeup Community Day
Date and Time: Oct. 17, 12:01 a.m. - 11:59 p.m. Local Time
What you need to do: Make sure your paperwork is in order and step inside the Ministry Atrium, where you can encounter Ministry Officials, Flocks of Interdepartmental Memos, and more.
October Community Day
When: Oct. 18, 12:01 a.m. - 11:59 p.m.
What you need to do: Get ready for pranks and mischief and visit Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes.
Darkness Rising Brilliant Event (Week 2)
Date and Time: Oct. 20, 11:00 a.m. PT to Oct. 27, 11:00 a.m. PT
What you need to do: Help return Brilliant Foundables from Borgin and Burkes, including Dark Witches and Wizards.
