Are you currently working from your home, apartment, or condo? If yes, then you better be careful since there's a chance that your boss is spying on you during working hours.
Working from home is a great option, especially since there is an ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. It allows you to use and take breaks throughout the day to run errands, take a nap, and do some laundry.

However, this also forced some companies to use tools that can track their employees since they sensed that managing a workforce outside of the office, and not under their watchful eyes, is quite hard. Some tools online can be used to track employees during their working hours.
What is Hubstaff?
One of these is the software is called Hubstaff, which can be installed on laptops or desktop computers of the remote worker. The office bosses can use it to log in onto the employees' computers and see how long they are working.

It can also track them if they're talking to many breaks or just wasting their time watching videos, visiting social media, or websites unrelated to their work. The software can also track the apps you've used or the websites you've visited. A Hubstaff "how-to" video showed that an employee was tracked, stating that the individual worked a total of 30 minutes between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon, as well as spending some of the remaining time on social media.
What is Time Doctor?
On the other hand, Time Doctor is a similar software. However, unlike Hubstaff, it restricts employers or bosses from spying or tracking their employees without their knowledge. But, if the worker uses a company-issued laptop or computer, the software will then allow the bosses to track their employees, even without their permission.
