Amazon Prime Day is right around the corner, with just a few hours away before kicking off, several gaming companies like Asus' TUFF Gaming, Logitech, Razer, etc., are showing its discounted items right before the said date. Gaming is one of the most anticipated sales in Prime Day 2020 as they offer massive discounts for gamers and start-ups alike.

Prime Day 2020 started later than expected as Amazon decongested its backlogs and delayed shipping caused by the global pandemic. However, this would not stop the e-commerce company from carrying on with its sale and massive discounts for its Prime subscribers and the public.

Amazon admits that the pandemic struck the e-commerce industry, particularly its logistics and shipping, when the virus hit. This left the Seattle giant to have backlogs and problems during the early months of the pandemic.

This particular event should have been carried on in mid-July; however, that was when Amazon faced multiple problems, including the rise of positive cases within its company and employees. Previously, Amazon admitted that it had a whopping 20,000 positive issues of COVID-19 from March through September, with the pandemic's high points during the early months.

After sorting out its company and employees, Amazon returns and brings with its esteemed Prime Day for 2020 on October 13 to 14. Prime subscribers can start to shop as early as midnight, a few hours from now.
