Aerial images of the current status of the construction of the Star Wars hotel are shared on social media. Disney World is building this hotel that will look like a Galactic Starcruiser.

Twitter user Bioreconstruct shared some images who wrote: "Aerial look at the Porte Cochère of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser." The user also noted the walkway, which is among the recent progresses in the construction, as being referenced by a small arrow.

In another photo, the Twitter user shared the aerial look of the construction of Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser where tents are built for worker's space, although it is not clear what the nearby crates contain.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

Star Wars fans get a glimpse of the highly anticipated facility currently being built inside the Walt Disney World Resort's Epcot Resort Area in Bay Lake, Florida. The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is a luxury hotel with Star Wars theme to its core.

It is slated for opening in 2021. This early, guests can already book an out-of-this-world two-night holiday experience "aboard" the Halycon, a glamorous "starship."

"Guests will check in and be transported up the ship for 2 days of adventure inside the Star Wars timeline," Bioreconstruct wrote. Cabins are located in the section at left while ship decks are located in the show building at the center area.

Star Wars fans will surely enjoy immersive experience at the hotel located in Disney's Hollywood Studios. They may spend most of their time inside the hotel than roam around the theme park.

According to a Disney representative, guests will have a full immersive Star-Wars experience from the moment they board their launch pod and throughout their adventure aboard a Star Wars luxury starship. "This ground-breaking experience is unlike any resort experience you've ever seen," the spokesperson said.

Disney executives revealed their plans to construct the hotel during the D23 Convention in Anaheim, California. The hotel will have three floors with two first-class cabins and 32 regular cabins per floor. It is currently being built inside the Hollywood Studios and just behind the newly opened Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser luxurious adventure

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser guests will stay in space-view cabins and dine in high-end restaurant with staff in Star Wars costumes. They can also interact with characters as well as launch their own "galactic journey" with on-the-job training, so they can take control of the Millennium Falcon, the fastest starship in the whole galaxy.

The Disney website also shows various artist illustrations showing a sneak-peek of what the one-of-a-kind luxury space adventure. Hotel guests wearing space-themed costumes are shown mingling with different Star Wars characters like Chewbacca, the legendary Wookiee warrior, Han Solo's co-pilot, Keshiri species, human-like purple-skinned species from the Kesh planet, and some robotic creatures.

Such uniquely luxurious experience will come at a hefty cost as a two-night/three-day hotel stay for two could cost around $3,200. Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will be transporting guests from the Disney World in Florida "to a galaxy far, far away" starting in 2021, according to Disney in a press statement.

However, with the on-going coronavirus pandemic, it is still unclear whether the 2021 launch will proceed, but images shared in social media shows the hotel getting shape already.
