If you need to upgrade your weapons, players need to head to the three Domains of Forgery. This place is like basically a dungeon wherein the Ascension materials can be found.
There are two currently Domains of Forgery on the map: these are Cecilia Garden and the Hidden Palace of Lianshan Formula.
Cecilia Garden is the very first in-game city on the game. This place can be found West of Mondstadt and is located close to the waypoint.
Meanwhile, the Hidden Palace of Lianshan Formula in located in the eastern nation of Liyue. Make sure that you're familiar with the game map, first.
Just like a normal location on the game, all players will need to accomplish small tasks while inside the domain. You also need to be mindful of enemies inside the dungeon, and kill them right away, to get the materials.
The level of difficulty to beat the enemies and complete tasks based on the level of your domain.
Remember: If you're looking to find Ascension Materials, these two Domains of Forgery are the places that you should visit more often to acquire weapon materials.
