One of the world's favorite electric vehicle manufacturers and clean energy companies, Tesla, is rolling out a beta software for the full self-driving capabilities of all "Model" car line-up. The FSD is long-awaited by Tesla fans and the public because of Elon Musk's constant teasing of the technology.

Tesla's current autonomous technology is the Autopilot that focuses on assisting the driver from maneuvering the car from daily traffic situations. The Autopilot is somewhat similar to the FSD; however, the main difference between the two is the so-called "driver intervention."

Tesla co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk took the chance to announce the new Full Self-Driving technology of Tesla in the social media, Twitter, where fans and enthusiasts await. The announcement took Twitter to storm as fans who are eager to see the technology finally witnesses its fruition.

According to Elon Musk (@elonmusk), the FSD beta rolls out tonight, Tuesday, October 20. Along with this, the CEO also regards that the technology would be "extremely slow & cautious, as it should," assuring the public of Tesla's aim to keep the streets safe with its technology.

Fans and enthusiasts of Tesla were waiting for the FSD for a long time now, as Elon Musk always brags that the clean energy company is developing this technology. Elon Musk also expresses his ideas on "driverless vehicles" using Tesla's technology.

The "driverless vehicles" from Tesla would uphold the highest value of safety, as what the company always assures the public of its vehicle. The FSD beta would be released privately or on a "closed beta status" for select people only.

Elon Musk: Tesla FSD 'Zero Driver Intervention''

The Full Self-Driving technology would be a different venture from the famous and one of Tesla's most advanced technology, the Autopilot, because of the promise of a "zero driver intervention." This technology mostly pertains to autonomous vehicles from the ground up.

Zero driver intervention vehicles are mostly intended for "Robotaxis," as demonstrated by Google's Waymo that ventures on fully driverless electric taxis in the future. Notably, Elon Musk praises the technology as a "specialized solution"; however, the CEO regards Tesla as the "general solution" for autonomous tech.

Tesla's venture on the FSD would be a feature for all vehicles and drivers to experience, not limited to commercial ride-hailing vehicles. Elon Musk aims to make Tesla's Full Self-Driving technology to the public, available for anyone who buys a Tesla electric vehicle.
