Ill Fonic and Gun Media's hit slasher and horror genre game, Friday the 13th: The Game, is now available for the public to download and play this Halloween season. The game adaptation from the hit 80s slasher movie of the same name takes back players to Camp Crystal Lake's origins.
The game has various modes that will allow players to survive the game as counselors or become one with evil, stalking and hunting the campers as they hide from the notorious killer, Jason Voorhees. It is a nostalgic homage to the 1980's favorite slasher movie and character, Jason, who comes with various costumes to choose from.
Developer IllFonic released the game with the publisher, Gun Media, in 2017 intended for the PC, Steam, Xbox, and PS4 Platforms. Later, the game was made available on new consoles such as the portable Nintendo Switch. "Friday the 13th: The Game's" Steam Rating is at 7 out of 10 stars, a decent rating for a slasher horror with niche fanbases.

'Friday the 13th': Plot and Gameplay
"Friday the 13th: The Game" is based on the 1980s hit slasher film of the same title, starring notorious hockey mask "mythical" creature, Jason Voorhees, that haunts the grounds of Camp Crystal Lake where he drowned and died in. Play as the counselors to fight, kill, and escape Jason before the time runs out, using the different weapons scattered over the map.
Playing as Jason grants one to go on a carnage to hunt and kill the campers using any tactic or weapon available. Time-restricted skills are also available such as immunity, teleportation, and "feel" one's prey.
