Initial benchmark leaks of the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X stated that the processor indeed showed amazing leads in the single-core performance as it was compared against the Intel Core i9-10900K both in the PassMark and the Geekbench 5. The scores actually seem to indicate a difference between 16 up to 20% benefits in the said single-core application for AMD's Ryzen 9 5950X.

Even the previous Ryzen 5 5600X also seemed to have been able to manage quite a decent lead in comparison to Intel's own flagship offering.

AMD's Ryzen 9 5950X scores an impressive 3,693 points

The known AMD Ryzen 5000 Zen 3 Vermeer CPUs, according to Notebook Check, have been said to have tickled everyone's interest with its given promise presented in the very much improved single-threaded performance in comparison to the previous generations. It also looks like those strong claims might actually turn out to be the solid truth according to both PassMark as well as Geekbench leaks.

The said Ryzen 9 5950X is a compact 16 core 32 thread CPU that works with a base clock of a whopping 3.9 GHz as well as a boost of all the way up to 4.9 GHz. The said single-thread performance of the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X in PassMark has recently leaked and showed a CPU score of a whopping 3,693 points.

The Intel i9-10900K scores up to 3,176 points in total

The test was then followed by the previous Ryzen 5 5600X's CPU score of 3,455. The AMD Ryzen 9 5950X has definitely managed to be able to outperform the current king, the Intel i9-10900K, with a score of just about 3,176 points. This means that the known Ryzen 9 5950X works 16.3 times better than the Intel i9 10900K and at around 7% than the previous Ryzen 5 5600X within its same benchmark.

When it boils down to the multi-thread performance, the said Zen 3 Vemeer CPUs are said to be still no match for the known Ryzen Threadrippers. Without much surprise, the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 3995WX certainly leads the pack with the strength of a whopping 88,673 points while the Ryzen 9 5940 is seen to only be able to best the given 16 core 32 thread Ryzen Threadripper Pro 3955WX by just 8%.

The report from Geekbench 5 showed almost the same percentage advantage

According to another article by Notebook Check, this could be an impressive 16% improvement towering over the previous but still powerful Ryzen 9 3950X. A much similar and improved particular single-core score was found for the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X in Geekbench 5 where a said report stated that the processor had a single-core score of just 1,700 while rocking the multi-corse score of up to 14,018.

The AMD Ryzen 5000 series has slowly been dominating the Intel processors once again. With the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X still towering over the Intel i9-10900K by about 16-20%.
