A recent video was posted to Reddit showing how Elon Musk's recent Starlink would be set up. The sped up video showed how easy the process was and although it was sped up to only 10 seconds, Elon Musk mentioned that it could be done in about 5 minutes.

This Reddit video was posted by u/Snowjunkie21 and eventually reposted to Twitter by Michael Sheetz @thesheetztweetz in which Elon Musk replied. The SpaceX CEO said that as of the moment, the whole satellite device still takes about 5 minutes in order for it to be set up but with additional improvements in the future, this device could be installed in probably less than just 3 minutes.

Elon Musk explained that it will be faster in the future

In the future, Musk noted that there would be no technical knowledge needed for the installation. He then described the future of this device as merely pointing it up to the open sky and simply plug it in.

A lot of buzz has been going on about Elon Musk's Starlink which aims to provide reliable internet connection at a more affordable price to those suffering from bad internet connection that also charges quite a lot. The whole project aims to provide the globe with a more uniformed connection to a stable internet provider.

As per the video, the thread encourages people to sign up to Starlink.com in order to check for the availability of Starlink services in their area. Michael Swartz then replied to Elon's statement regarding the easier installation process later on asking if other testers have come forward asking for help in mounting the said Starlink unit. It was also asked if the $99/month service price will eventually change once the beta period will end and the commercial service will begin.

Beta testing in the United States and when it will be available in other parts of the world

While the beta testing is still going on in the United States, people around the world have been inquiring about whether or not Starlink's services will be provided in their country/area. Another question directed to Elon Musk was if the service would eventually be available in India.

Elon Musk then replied that the service will eventually be provided once the company gets regulatory approval. The rough estimate of the service being available in India is said to be somewhere during the middle of 2021.

India was not the only country that questioned when the service would be available. Another inquiry asked Elon Musk when the service would be available for Europe and the tech CEO replied that it will roll out once everything is approved. It was explained that no EU-wide approval system currently exists which is why the final approvals are estimated to arrive some time in February or March.
