Tesla is hiding a new update in its software files that will soon feature the ultrafast network connection of 5G and hotspot integration in its electric vehicle systems according to trusted leaker on Twitter. The Tesla leak shows that new updates would soon come with the firmware file for "Cypress," a dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology with two bandwidth systems.
The clean energy company based on Palo Alto, California, Tesla, will soon roll out a new software update that would provide the car's systems with stronger data network connections, and the ability to resonate the network for connection. The latest update would make the electric vehicle's systems more robust in faster connections that would mainly benefit the car features.
Both users and the EV company would benefit from the update because the network connection would also give back reports and feedback to Tesla about the electric car's performance which the company uses for improving its tech. The connectivity would gather data from the vast systems in Tesla EVs, primarily in the high-tech Autopilot.
According to Electrek, the Tesla leaker known as "green," hacked his way to discover the new software update that would come in the form of "2020.44." The leaker shared this information on his social media account and is a trusted source for all reliable Tesla leaks.
There is no exact date for the release of the software update for Tesla's existing EVs that are out in public. However, its name suggests that it would release in the same year and would soon be popping up on the car's systems.

Tesla Leaker: 'green' Discovers the 'Cypress'
According to green (@greentheonly), Tesla will release the firmware on the 2020.44 update, containing the "CYW89359" file that is the "Cypress" automotive solution that offers various connections. "Cypress" is a Real Simultaneous Dual Band (RSDB) technology that offers two network integrations in a single system.

The Cypress would soon power the vehicle with both 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth solution that offers a more robust network connection for cars. According to Electrek, the chips were launched by Tesla in 2018 and are fitted in the company's electric vehicles.
Additionally, the Cypress delivers advanced optimal performance for a 2.4 and 5 GHz 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth/Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connection for its systems. This update would help Tesla vehicles with faster data connections and integrations to benefit the Autopilot's development in the coming future.
Tesla 5G and Hotspot
"Green" also discovers "breadcrumbs" that point to supporting 5G modem support for all Tesla vehicles in the "Connectivity Suite Update" that would soon arrive for the EVs. This update would take in the rapid 5G connection from an external source as no equipment is currently fitted in Tesla cars for self-sufficient 5G.
Additionally, the leaker shows that a hotspot network integration would soon arrive for Tesla vehicles as the discovery saw an additional bandwidth usage monitoring that would be added soon. Tesla was known to ask users in 2017 to collect info from its cameras for the system's improvement and upgrade that made the Autopilot as powerful as today's.
