The Crew-1's mission would be a historical event for NASA as this is the first Commercial Crew launch happening on Saturday, November 14.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is eager for the awaited launch of the four-person crew that saw unfortunate delays in launching to the ISS. The Crew-1 Dragon's mission would be the first human mission in almost a decade that will launch from the United States.

NASA alternatively calls this mission as #LaunchAmerica, which brings together all of the country's greatest feats, including private space manufacturing companies, SpaceX, that made this mission possible. Despite the coronavirus pandemic and other natural catastrophes in the country, NASA's Commercial Crew remains strong and optimistic for Saturday.
The launch would take place on the launch island of Cape Canaveral, Florida, particularly on NASA's Kennedy Space Center on platform 39A. Currently, the SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket Booster and Dragon Crew Head are now standing vertically, facing the skies to travel soon.
According to NASA, recent inspections and verifications complete the certification process to greenlight NASA and SpaceX's joint effort launch. This mission will be the first human-rated commercial space system that SpaceX designed with both vessels' reusable spacecraft technology.

Meet the Crew Behind NASA's Crew-1 Dragon Mission
NASA's Crew-1 Dragon Mission consists of four astronauts that would venture to the ISS for six months of scientific research and studies. The four astronauts of this historical launch would be the first to board the Crew Dragon Resilience made by SpaceX.
NASA astronaut and space commander Michael Hopkins would lead the group and swear into commission as a member of the United States Space Force. JAXA astronaut Soichi Noguchi joins the crew as the only foreign personnel and mission specialist. Next is NASA astronaut Victor Glover who would pilot the SpaceX Crew Dragon Resilience, and lastly, NASA Astronaut Shannon Walker, also a mission specialist.
NASA Commercial Crew: Crew Dragon Spacecraft by SpaceX First to Launch
The national space agency puts massive faith and importance on this particular mission because it would be the first launch featuring the Commercial Crew venture that involves America's brightest minds. The country's best spacecraft manufacturers were invited by NASA to present their human vessels to launch their future missions.
SpaceX, Boeing, Blue Origins, and ULA are among the companies slated to present their spacecraft that would soon promote and invite commercial flights to launch and tour space. Impressively, SpaceX is the first to secure NASA's certification for future missions and debut the Dragon spacecraft to bring people in orbit.
Additionally, the Dragon would stand above the Falcon 9 rocket booster, which will be the primary vehicle while here on Earth. The spacecraft would separate mid-flight and return to the planet where SpaceX's drone ship will be waiting in the open seas.
