There is no doubt that Mihoyo's "Genshin Impact" is one of the biggest video games today, raking up millions from its avid players across various platforms, and with the massive update, players are clamoring to get the new five-star hero, Childe Tartaglia, the Hydro Bow user.

You'll need at least 90 Wishes to guarantee a five-star hero/item.

How to Get 'Genshin Impact's' Tartaglia

As with most gacha games, getting the best heroes and the best items take sheer luck--or if you have it, it will require money.

In the case of "Genshin Impact," exactly how much will you need to spend to get a five-star hero like Tartaglia?

Paul Tassi, a senior contributor of Forbes, has computed that amount, both in real-life cash and in Primogens, which are the special in-game items required so you can get a Fate, which is then required to make a pull.

As most "Genshin Impact" players would know, it takes at least ten pulls to acquire a four-star item or hero, which in this case is Diona, so you might have more luck getting this character than Tartaglia since, according to Tassi, five stars only have a 0.6% drop rate in the game.

With that, it takes approximately 90 Wishes before you have the chance to get Tartaglia--and it's not even guaranteed.

How Many Wishes?

Based on the game's "Featured" banner, the featured five-star, which is Tartaglia, has a 50% chance that it's the five-star you pull.

That means that your 90th pull may not even be the featured hero, especially if you have terrible luck, so you'll have to make another 90 pulls before you can be guaranteed a Tartaglia.

That said, people with not the best luck will need 180 pulls before a guaranteed Tartaglia.

Now, how much will that take?

Each pull requires a Fate, and to get one, you'll need 160 Primogens, so if you require 180 Wishes, you'll need to have 28,800 Primogens.

If you're a die-hard "Genshin Impact" player, then there is a possibility that you can accumulate that much Primogens until the Childe Tartaglia banner is gone, which is only available until December 1, according to Siliconera.

You can start hoarding Primogens via achievements, quest rewards, the Daily Commissions, and downtime compensation, but if truth be told, it is incredibly hard to gain that much Primogens to complete even 90 pulls, let alone 180.

Buying Crystal Packs

So, your best choice is to buy a pack of Crystals, which you can exchange for Primogens.

The best choice, according to Tassi, is to get $100 worth of Crystals, which will convert to 8,800 Primogens, so you'll need at least three of those to have 24,240 Primogens, then you can buy the $50-worth of Crystals for 3,880 Primogens, so your total should be at 28,120 by now.

By adding another $15, you get 1,090 Primogens, so you now have 29,210 Primogens, enough for 180 Wishes, and even a few more.

Add all that, and you'll need to spend a total of $365 to get Tartaglia, which is pretty costly--so the best thing all "Genshin Impact" players can do is practically pray for Luck that they can pull a Tartaglia randomly.
