The popular travel blogger and founder of the successful yoga wear brand "Confused Girl in the City" tells an inspirational story of choices. From working on top tier film productions & starring in major global campaigns, to building her own business & combining her passion with her profession. 

Giovanna Silvestre grew up as the daughter of an Italian immigrant who's been able to live the 'American Dream'. With successful restaurants, the first gen American grew up in an entrepreneurial environment. Graduation with honours in International Relations, the talented young woman has a wide range of talents in her repertoire. Which took her into the entertainment industry, working on productions with big names such as Kenneth Branagh, Peter Jackson, ABC, etc. 

Following a 'radical internal awakening' six years ago, as she puts it, Giovanna got inspired to launch her own Yoga wear brand. Starting her design from inspirations of her favourite Crystals, her team figured out a way to print photos onto the high quality fabric of the Los Angeles-made clothing line 'Confused Girl In The City'. The, brand she says, portrays the 'empowered female warrior'. To this day, the success story of the brand has been covered in magazines such as Forbes & Yoga World, as well as featured on the cover of Yoga LA, a dream come true for the young entrepreneur. 

As a social media influencer, Silvestre has worked with serious global players including T-Mobile, Vitamin Water, Coca-Cola, Target, Walmart, Skinny Cow, Skype, Match.com, Bigelow Tea, Crocs, Lindt Chocolate, Audi, Vaseline and many more. The partnership with the German car giant Audi is described as one of her proudest moments. Being one of the first female influencers to partner with the brand in such a male-dominated industry was an honour - an embodies her personal story and brand. 

And if that wasn't impressive enough, she is currently making sure to establish her name as a published author. Currently adding the finishing touched to her book 'Seven Things Every Confused Girl Should Do' which reflects on her experiences during the past years, she is set to release her first bestseller. Giovanna Silvestre describes her author debut as a guide for women to find themselves in the position to confidently navigate through a life of opportunity and wholesomeness. She doesn't shy away from sharing intimidate personal lessons and experiences that transformed her own situations. From being the confused, overwhelmed and at times depressed girl, to a travelling, confident and successful young woman.
