"The Sims 4" gets more exciting as Brookheights Open World mod brings new beautiful maps that will surely amaze many players. The mod's final version is now available for public release after the creator's hard work.

Arnie Sims, also known as The Sims Plus, is the one that created the new mod. This one requires "The Sims 4 Get To Work" and "The Sims 4 City Living" to be playable. An auto-installer is included in the latest release.

This means that turning the mod on and off is now smoother than ever. However, there's one downside you'll face. You still have to use the run a repair option of your "The Sims 4" game.

This is still needed even if there's already an automatic installer. You must also remember that the process will take a longer period if you have most of the DLC packs.

Will the latest update affect the mod?

According to Extra Time's latest report, the newest December 2020 Sims 4 update won't affect the new mod. There are also no reports stating that players are encountering some issues with the Brookheights Open World skin tone overhaul patch.

However, the new mod is not available on "The Sims 3." On the other hand, "The Sims 4" will certainly offer you refreshing new ways of playing the game.

Here are the new beautiful maps you need to check out!

  • Newcrest
  • Magnolia Promenade
  • Del Sol Valley
  • Granite Falls
  • Willow Creek
  • Forgotten Hollow
  • Sulani

How does it work?

Sims Downs reported that the new mod is inspired by New York City. This one is a large area in a vide-game that doesn't require loading screens.

This means that players can freely move around across the game's maps without having to wait for a long period of time. The Brookheights Open World mod in "The Sims 4" is very different from "The Sims 3."

Why? Because the new mod in this game's version has a huge playable, interactive area, and a single active lot in the middle. The new mod was created because interactive shell buildings were developed by Arnie Sims a few months ago.

Some of the buildings are either "Rabbitholes" or "Open Values." Players will surely have a great time in the new mod since they can do a lot of things such as going to a Broadstreet Musical, driving a car, renting a lodge in the Greenmount Forest, and more.
