Paradigm+ and Paradigm are already sold out 24 hours after it was launched. The new solar-powered electric vehicles don't need any type of charging.

All you need to do is park it anywhere. Once you get back, it will have more energy in its tank. The $26,000 electric car was developed and created by the California-based startup Aptera.

The company explained that this three-wheeled vehicle is the world's first "Never Charge Solar Electric Vehicle." The car manufacturer also boasts that it has a range of 1,000 miles or 1,600 kilometers.

"Aptera leverages breakthroughs in lightweight structures, low-drag aerodynamics and cooling, material science, and manufacturing processes to deliver the most efficient vehicle ever made available to consumers," said the company via Independent UK.

How good is Paradigm EV?

Aptera explained that its new electric cars have Never Charge features. Both Paradigm and Paradigm are designed to harvest enough sunlight. This feature allows the EVs to travel over 11,000 miles every year in most regions.

The new inventions have an unusual teardrop design, which is specifically created to be as aerodynamically efficient as possible. This will allow the car to require less energy to operate.

As of the moment, the new EVs are a work of art. Why? Because no mass-market electric vehicle has a range greater than 500 miles. However, Aptera reiterated that its Paradigm and Paradigm+ both have certain limitations. The solar panels used can only capture energy from the sun to charge 40 miles per day.

Why Aptera designed Paradigm instead of SUV?

According to ZME Science's latest report, a lot of people currently love electric vehicles, which is evident with Tesla and other giant EV manufacturers. The EV market is also expanding like never before.

Because of this, Aptera Motors decided to create its three-wheeled EV instead of developing a new SUV or Sedan. Paradigm and Paradigm+ both have a drag coefficient of just 0.13 compared to other electric cars.

This is a great improvement since Volkswagen's ID 4 has a drag coefficient of 0.28, while Tesla's Model 3 has 0.23. Aptera's EV's 0.13 drag coefficient allows it to travel up to 1,000 miles on a single charge. Both of the cars are offered between $25,900 and $46,000. Aptera's new EVs are already sold out and it plans to deliver them by the end of 2021.
