Recent leaks are suggesting McLaren's upcoming limited-production supercar, the Sabre, will come with 824 horsepower and a whopping 218 mph top speed that surpasses its predecessor McLaren Senna in the race track. The impressive spec sheet of the new supercar, however, would only be experienced by the US market because of legal issues that might not even let the car roll out in other countries.

The "Ultimate Vision" of McLaren has finally achieved its physical form and gave the brand a new car to race against supercar leaders which dominated the industry far too long. McLaren Sabre is a beast that is still restrained but would soon be unleashed in the wild, wowing the world with its performance, functionality, and style.

Rumors have spread like wildfire regarding the new Sabre, and it is said that McLaren Beverly Hills would be the first to receive the production unit from the manufacturers. This single unit would be number one, out of the fifteen (15) total vehicles to be released by the company.

Motor 1 reported that insiders from the dealership have revealed that the limited production vehicle would first be seen in Beverly Hills, and the rest still have unknown dealership locations. The new supercar still has no official price tag but is projected to be over a massive million dollars.

What makes Sabre iconic is its humongous rear spoiler which actually resembles a closed-edge design, much like a box with holes to pass wind and support the vehicle's aerodynamics. The McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has conceptualized this car and made it to be one of the top supercars in the world.

The McLaren Sabre is born from the MSO, the special division of the company that focuses itself on mindboggling innovations and design for its race-spec vehicles that are sure to be equipped with performance and power. Moreover, Sabre is closely being compared to the McLaren Senna and MSO Bespoke which shares almost the same looks but is actually a different car from its predecessors.

According to Car and Driver, The McLaren Sabre is equipped with a 4.0L Twin-Turbocharged V8, and considered as one of the most powerful engines of the generation for the internal combustion engines or ICE. The V8 is capable of producing 824 horsepower with 590 ft. lb. of torque.

Moreover, the vehicle's top speed lists 218 miles per hour under its belt, which is slightly lower than the Senna's 250 mph top speed. While the new vehicle is slower in terms of top speed, it is widely considered to be more powerful than the McLaren Senna, which initially sold for $2 million.

The McLaren Sabre is technically the fastest two-seater vehicle in the company's lineup because most of its other cars with higher top speeds have three seats. The 15 units are already intended for the same number of clients who were involved in the vehicle's production process.

Note: McLaren has not shared official statements about the hypercar so every rumors or leaks released as of this writing should be taken with a grain of salt.
