Growing up in a multitude of southern California cities, uncertainty was standard in Tony Chang's life from a young age. So, when at age 18, Chang was one of the millions of young adults who were expected to know what direction they wanted to take their life, that uncertainty was still present. Trial and error, both in his career and in his personal life, led Tony Chang down many paths until, ultimately, he decided to pursue a life as his own boss in every aspect. Now the founder and head of Super Jewelry Co, Tony Chang is a story of inspiration for hopeful entrepreneurs' next generation.

After years spent pursuing a graduate's degree, Tony Chang realized that he was not truly happy with what he was doing with his life. "I went through a period where I had a negative balance in my checking account and had to use my points from my credit card to keep afloat," Chang shares. "The most difficult challenge that I am so happy to have overcome is having self-worth, self-confidence, and self-acceptance to put myself out there for the world to experience." Navigating through the ups and downs of everyday life, Chang realized what he desired emotionally, spiritually, and fiscally. He attributes this epiphany to the financial independence book Rich Dad Poor Dad, written by entrepreneur Robert Kiyosaki.

A chance encounter with the CEO of Ablaze International, a well-established jewelry corporation, pointed a lost Tony Chang in the right direction. Spending nearly six years with Ablaze, Tony learned the jewelry industry's ins and outs and was now well equipped to break away and finally pursue a business that was all his own. In 2018, Tony Chang founded Super Jewelry Co and began life as his own boss. "I sell Fine Real 10K and 14K gold jewelry, create custom jewelry, and motivate aspiring entrepreneurs to create a revenue stream of their own," Chang shares of his company. Building a brand that puts the clients first, Super Jewelry Co acts as your friend before approaching you as your jeweler.

Chang's path to success has taught him a lot about business and life in general. Now, he is looking to share what he has learned with the next generation of hopeful entrepreneurs. "It takes believing in yourself," Chang advises. He continues, "If you don't at first, having just one person really believe in you until you do." Through the ups and downs, Chang has relied on self-determination and the acknowledgment and bettering of his insecurities to find his way to the top." Life indeed is a game, and those who put themselves out there to play will get hurt the most but will end up winning sooner or later."
