New Samsung Galaxy Leak

Now, a new leak surfaces online, revealing the hardware specs of the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus, including the pricing for both devices.

According to reports, the leak was initially reported by prominent leaker Roland Quandt via WinFuture, but until Samsung itself has made some official announcement about the Galaxy S21 series, take the details with a pinch of salt.

So, what could Samsung fans expect from the devices based on the leak?

In a report by GizmoChina, both Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus are 5G ready and are reportedly IP68-rated dustproof and water-resistant and will apparently feature a flat screen, losing the curved edges the smartphones' predecessors have.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Specs Leak

First off, Samsung Galaxy S21 is believed to be the smallest of the three devices with only a 6.2-inch display, plus it also has a lower screen resolution at 2400x1080p, which is not bad and can provide a Full HD+ experience.

But, compared to the Galaxy S20 with 3200x1440p, Galaxy S21's resolution definitely dropped down.

Nevertheless, the flagship device will reportedly still retain the Dynamic AMOLED 2x panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is pretty high and just like what Galaxy S20 is offering today, along with Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus.

Moreover, the leak says that European and Malaysian versions of the Galaxy S21 will be run by the company's new Exynos 2100 chip that is based on a 5nm process.

There will likely be two versions: an 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, or an 8GB RAM with 256GB storage option, but it appears like Samsung will be dropping its support for expandable storage via microSD cards.

The device will also reportedly have a triple rear camera setup, with a 12MP main camera, 64MP sensor for telephoto, and 12MP camera for ultra-wide angle shots, complete with the Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) feature.

For the front-facing selfie camera, the device apparently has a 10MP camera.

When it comes to battery, the Galaxy S20 is believed to have a 4000mAh battery that supports wireless and fast wireless charging.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus Specs and Price Leaks

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus is slightly bigger than the S21 with a 6.7-inch screen and the same Full HD+ resolution, but it does come with the same high refresh rate and a bigger 4800mAh battery.

The prices have been revealed via the leak as well, but they're only available for European prices, with Samsung Galaxy S21 starting at EUR 849 (around USD 1,039) for the base storage option and EUR 899 (around USD 1,099) for the bigger storage.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus is apparently starting at EUR 1,049 (around USD 1,283) for the 128GB variant and EUR 1,099 (around USD 1,344) for the 256GB variant.

Again, these are all unofficial specs and prices and should be taken with a pinch of salt until Samsung releases its own announcement.
