Apple has had one of its best years so far, having a roller coaster ride this 2020 and persevering despite the threat of the COVID-19 which almost stopped the world's entire industries with its virus. Despite everything, the Cupertino giant has provided some of the best technologies this year, giving the world new MacBooks and the new iPhone 12.

Indeed, Apple lived up to its name of being the most valuable technology company in the world, dominating 2020 despite some being in remote work situations and the fear of the virus creeping up to them. Nevertheless, Apple showed perseverance and hard work, delivering the world with one of the top-selling technology of the year.

The Cupertino giant started the year with a redesigned Intel MacBook Pro (2020), upgraded iPad Pro, and the second-generation iPhone SE. All of these were released without virtual events and were only announced by the company.

Apple's 2020 was filled with virtual releases, starting with June's Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) which is one of the world's first virtual event show for technology. Despite the pandemic's restrictions and threats, Apple did not let it bring them down and still delivered shows for the people. 

WWDC announced most of Apple's upcoming software that has shown itself this 2020, with the iOS 14, iPadOS 14, tvOS 14, watchOS 7, and the macOS Big Sur. However, one stand out from WWDC is Apple's ARM-based silicon chip that was teased to release by this year. 

September Fall Event

September followed with the "Time Flies" that introduced the Apple Watch Series 6, Apple Watch SE, together with the iPad Air 4th Gen, and iPad's 8th Gen.

October's "Hi, Speed" event introduced the four variants of the most awaited 5G smartphone, the iPhone 12, along with the iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

November "One More Thing"

November's "One More Thing" event introduced Fall's SoC MacBook Air and Pro with the M1 Chips, Apple's strongest all-in-one processor that bid farewell to long-time partner, Intel. The software also joined the launch with iOS 14, watchOS 7, and the macOS Big Sur betas. 

In December, the rumored headphones initially called Apple AirPods Studio, releases with the AirPods Max name along with the Apple Fitness+ service.
