CES 2021 is just around the corner and and dozens of enthusiasts are eager to see what huge TV brands are parading on the lineup. CES 2021 is a virtual major event for consumer electronics for the year 2021. This year-opener kickoff features major TV electronic leaders such as Sony, Samsung , LG, and more.

Normally, tech enthusiasts will have to travel to Las Vegas to get a glimpse of the event. But now, we can watch the lineup online and see a new array for latest innovations that will definitely make a mark in the tech world.

Thankfully, we've made a list of CES 2021 TV lineups for us to have a glimpse of the TV launches from major brands

Sony

Sony's entry for the CES 2021 Includes a TV lineup that runs Google TV and is powered by HDMI 2.1. For their lineup, there are impressive refresh rates such as 4K at 120Hz, ALLM, and eARC. According to the Verge, Sony is also making a big leap by using "cognitive intelligence"{ with their TVs powered by Processor XR Chip. This new cutting-edge technology brings a feature that goes beyond traditional signal processing and artificial intelligence in most TVs.

  • Z9J Master Series 8K (Full-array LCD) available in 85-inch and 75-inch
  • A90J Master Series 4K (OLED) available in 83-inch, 65-inch and 55-inch
  • A80J 4K (OLED) available in 77-inch, 65-inch, and 55-inch
  • X95J 4K (Full-array LCD) available in 85-inch, 75-inch and 65-inch
  • X93J 4K (Full-array LCD) available in 100-inch, 75-inch, 65-inch, 55-inch, and 50-inch

Samsung

Samsung on the other hand, boasts a powerful lineup of their NeoQLED and the microLED. Accoridng to GSM Arena, the Neo QLED is a combination of an innovative technology and latest image processing features. It uses a Mini LED backlighting which allows for smaller zones to function in a full array of dining system and a more localized brightness. The Neo QLED has a Neo Quantum image processor that utilizes 16 neural network models. It also features Samsung Health with a personal feature, Game mode, AMD Freesync Premium Pro, Office 365 and more.

On the other hand, Samsung's micro LED is a self-emitting display technology and does not degrade over time. It also achieves a higher output level. Although in the past, it has been very expensive for consumers to purchase, Samsung promises it is now made in a more affordable price that is why it is offered as standard televisions for the 2021 lineup.

Samsung CES 2021 TV Lineup:

  • Neo QLED TV
  • MicroLED TV available in two sizes - 110" and 99"

LG

The manufacturer is best known for its OLED TVs. However, it is launching a new name for the CES 2021 known as QNED. The QNED combines the power of NanoCell technology along with the innovative quantum dots for improved contrast, brightness, and color.

According to CNET, LG has yet to provide more details about their QNED TVs. Disclosed information includes the QNED would have 30,000 Mini-LEDs and 2,500 local dimming zones. However, models and screen sizes are not announced yet. The company is expected to release more updates as the CES 2021 virtual event is coming near. For the meantime, users are looking forward to the press conference of LG scheduled on January 11, which is the start of the CES 2021 event.

Where to watch the CES 2021 TV Lineup

The online only Tech Expo will happen on January 11-14. What we can expect is for big brands to host their owned live streamed showcase, or they may also join with the CES themed showcase videos. Although it is expected that these events will be open for viewing to the public, there may also be paywalls that only those registered for CES 2021 attendees can access.

Until then, users may find it best to look forward to updates first hand from the major brands' official websites.
