Here's what's on the lineup:

Canon EOS R1

The Canon EOS R1 is reflective of its predecessor, CANON EOS 1D X MARK II, only better, as it is not mirrorless. It is not certain whether the Canon EOS R1 will be released in the market this year. However, it is almost certain that Canon will make an announcement anytime this month. According to DIY Photography, the EOS R1 is likely to be released ahead of the Tokyo Olympics.

Canon RF body with High Resolution

Another release for canon would be an RF mount body with at least twice the megapixels of the Canon EOS R5. Camera geeks are looking forward to this as the Canon EOS R5 model already features a 45MP sensor. Technically, 2021 has a 100MP camera in store for us.

APS-C RF mount body

It has been predicted a long time ago that the Canon EOS M sSystem might come to an end due to its subpar service, so it's not surprising for Canon to pose an update next to this. The APS-C RF in 2021 would feature a mount camera that works best at moving objects such as sports, wildlife, as well as in videography. For the past, RF mounts have been in full frame, so the APS-C RF would be the first, and definitely something to look forward to.

Entry-level full frame RF bodies

Canon is expected to release two entry-level full frame RF body cameras simultaneously for 2021. The Canon EOS R and the EOS RP may have a full boost with the full frame bodies this year. The first kind will be more affordable yet still full frame and the second one will have a slot between the first body and the EOS R6.

Canon EOS C50

The Canon EOS C50 update was expected to be released back in 2020. However, it was moved in 2021. Now, it is definite that the EOS C50 will be featuring a new camera box design for users.

Canon EOS C90

There is little information about this camera update, although the C90 update can be comparable to that of the design feature in EOS c50. Canon is yet to announce more updates on this feature. This could be a C500 Mark III replacement for users.

Canon 8K cinema camera

It is assumed that the Canon 8k cinema camera is the perfect launch that coincides with the summer Olympics, as it has been teased with a video released from Canon Japan. It offers smart features for easy capturing of high-speed moving objects.

Price and Release date

Prices for these new features have not yet been officially released by Canon. It is much strategic to look forward to updates released first hand by Canon to get a first slot of reservations for the products once they launch. It is assumed that the release for these mirrorless cameras could begin by Summer, before the Olympics. Although Sony was the talk of the town this year, Canon has come back stronger than ever with these mirrorless features for 2021.
