No, this is not one of those "phablet" smartphones that offer a massive display right off the bat, it can shrink and enlarge, soon to be released by the company.

CES 2021 holds several of the best technology releases and innovations that the world has, from different companies and individuals who have imaginative minds that focus on futuristic designs. The South Korean consumer electronics company, LG, is one of those imaginative minds that recently teased the unbelievable "LG Rollable" that is almost unexplainable.

The video is only a teaser by the company, and no official details were revealed or unveiled by the company whether it would be released to the public. Several of CES's showcase are only concepts and does not continue to production, but in LG Rollable's case, it would hit the market sooner than expected, as it features an out of this world design.

LG Rollable Teaser: Astonishing Display that 'Morphs' to Size

LG's "Life is On" CES 2021 virtual press conference subtly teased the LG Rollable, making it the next device to be seen (after the LG Gram), which extended the display in the 2-minute mark before transitioning to its senior vice president. The next display of the LG Rollable would be found right at the end of the press con, which names the device.

The clever display of the latest smartphone from the South Korean company indicated that it is a flagship device from LG, making it the star of its show once it is finally available or releases to the public. The fact that it was presented to start the virtual event, down to its final seconds, LG's "morphing" smartphone would be its headliner for smartphone technology.

LG Rollable: Speculations and Leaks for 2021 Release Date

The company has not revealed any further details regarding the LG Rollable's release or unveiling date, no hints whatsoever, as it only says "More to Explore" and the name of the device. The lack of details left the public in amazement and doubts whether the smartphone is only a concept design or a release that would soon come in the future.

However, that is not the case because according to CNet, leaks from people that are following LG said that they are planning to release the smartphone this year, 2021. The technology that "rolls" the display of televisions have been revealed by the South Korean company in October last year, but turning it into a smaller device like a smartphone seems impossible.

LG Rollable: Early Specs, etc.

The only thing known of the smartphone is that it would have an almost bezel-less design that maximizes the entire display with its screen, rolling to extend more of it to an almost mini-tablet size. Moreover, its primary specification is its rollable display that seems to be the same size as the iPhone 12 Pro Max at 6.7 inches, with an extending display.
