SpaceX is going back on the air but this time, it would be launching the SN9 Starship to test its rockets and capabilities like how it did with the SN8 after it completed its static fire tests. This event is a massive achievement for SpaceX as they already have accelerated their series of stainless steel spacecraft to working prototypes, a step closer to their goal.

The popular aerospace manufacturer, SpaceX, is looking to go the same heights as the SN8 Starship with the SN9, with its test launch that is scheduled to start tomorrow, Tuesday, January 26. Despite not yet carrying the actual testing, this is already a massive achievement for SpaceX as the back-to-back development of the SN8 and SN9 is rapidly improving.

SpaceX: SN9 Starship Test Launch on Tuesday

SpaceX is making the impossible and unthinkable happen with its batch of stainless steel spacecraft that are bound for one of the toughest and rigorous journeys for both humans and spacecraft, Mars. The company has been testing out its series of Starships for one purpose alone, bringing humans to the Red Planet once it has finished all of its testing and preparations.

According to Ars Technica, SpaceX's SN9 Starship should have launch tested earlier today, Monday, but the company had failed to evacuate nearby residents for the hazards brought by the important procedure. Also, the wind was not on SpaceX's back, as it brought a power of 30 miles per hour, which is not ideal for the launch's safety.

Moreover, it is still unknown whether the SN9 Starship is flight-ready, hence the test launch, and having both hazards like human presence and strong gusts of wind in the vicinity would be problematic for SpaceX. The company is aiming to try again the next day, after completing the necessary preparations like road closures and resident evacuations.

SpaceX SN9 Starship Launch Test: When and How to Watch

The SN9 was ready to launch in December, but the incident in its holding bay where it leaned to the walls that held it became a concern for SpaceX and have been repairing and checking the spacecraft since then. It has occurred the same time after the test launch of the SN8 which resulted in wreckage after it performed its "belly flop" maneuver.

Everyone can take part in witnessing another spacecraft of the aerospace company spread its wings and show the world what is capable of via watching online or near the site for nearby citizens. SpaceX would be streaming the launch test event live on its website and YouTube Channel for live streams.

SpaceX SN9 Starship's launch test times are as follows for different time zones, as it stated that it would begin its six-hour launch window by 6 pm or 18:00 UTC, 10:00 pm for Pacific Time, 1:00 pm for Eastern Time, and 12:00 pm for Central Time.
