Over 93,000 Hyundai Tucson cars spreading from all across Australia have now been urgently recalled by Hyundai due to a particularly dangerous issue. The recall was carried out due to fears that the Hyundai Tucson's engine could actually burst directly into flames despite the car being turned off.

Why are Hyundai cars catching fire?

In an article by News.com.au, over 93,000 cars have now been recalled over certain fears that the particular engine could in fact spontaneously burst straight into flames despite the car being turned off. A certain manufacturing error has been found in about 93,572 different Hyundai Tucson cars sold from the period of November 2014 all the way up to 2020.

The issue could potentially result in severe damage or even death. It was found that a particular electronic control circuit board within the car's Anti-Lock Braking System has actually been found to short circuit especially when the components are left exposed to moisture. The official Product Safety Australia has noted in a certain statement that there is in fact a risk of a particular engine compartment fire, even when this particular car is now turned off, as the circuit is still constantly powered.
