Google leaks have surfaced for the latest version and first look at the latest and fresh User Interface for the upcoming operating system of Android 12, which would be under the "Material NEXT" platform. The new leaks show what Google has been working on for the most used operating system for the mobile platform, and it soon looks on an actual smartphone.

The popular Internet and multinational tech conglomerate, Google, has recently been leaked the first images of the user interface it is designing for the Android 12 operating system, which is the latest for the OS. Android 11 was recently named the "Red Velvet Cake," and would soon come with the next letter in the alphabet for the next major upgrade.
Google's User Interface resembles the UI of its Google Suite of Applications including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Photos, and the like. The branding of Google is now applied to Android, as the user interface has evolved throughout the years, being its face and image that provides an interactive platform as opposed to Apple's iOS.

Google Android 12: User Interface is Part of 'Material NEXT' Project
Apple may have the iOS exclusive for its iPhones and is a widely anticipated and celebrated release, as seen on IOS 14's debut last September, but Google is not trailing behind. The Mountain View Internet giant's smartphone operating system is also known for its Android OS, which has been a known choice for fans and enthusiasts.
According to XDA Developers, they have recently intercepted screenshot images from Google sent to their OEM partners that showcase the first look of the features and appearance of the latest Android. The image leans on aesthetic and minimalist features, which differ from the old user interfaces of the Android that aims for expressive designs.
The new UI of Google is under the "Material NEXT" initiative of the company, which is under the Material Theme design of the company that would go the next level for their user interface. While the Home Screen, Notifications Panel, and the Google Camera App were only shown, it already brings massive hints on what the new UI would bring.
Android 12: New UI under Material NEXT
The leaks that were provided only shown three screenshots under the Material NEXT initiative of Google but it would be larger than expected and would bring more features once it drops. Moreover, the Android 12 is expected to drop this year, but Google has not yet revealed any information regarding its availability and updates this 2021.
Android 12: Sweet Name would be 'Snow Cone'
Google is known for naming its Android versions on different sweet foods that are well known, primarily desserts that correspond to the version number of the operating system. Names such as Oreo, Kitkat, Jellybean, Ice Cream Sandwich, and more have surfaced.
According to The Verge's report, Google would be naming the Android 12 as "Snow Cone," which suits primarily with the theme of dessert names for the operating system.
