Garmin, a popular US watch maker, has added a new smartwatch to its line up that is filled with some unique features that you won't find on many of the smartwatches around.

The watch is named Garmin Enduro is made not only to endure the most extreme of weather conditions but also the most rigorous usage with an extended battery life that could last for 65 days.

The Garmin Enduro smartwatch is called as a new ultraperformance GPS watch. The smartwatch packs a 1.4-inch OLED display that is said to be optimized for use under sunlight with a resolution of 280 x 280 pixels. It is said to come with solar charging feature.

The battery capacity of the smartwatch was not revealed but despite the long usage time touted, and the watch still is an lightweight device as it weighs just 72g for the steel variant and 58g for the titanium model, according to Garmin.

There are also several modes and the 65 days usage is also possible in smartwatch mode when it is used with solar and on the battery saver mode, it is said that the smartwatch could last for a year with just solar charging.

Garmin Enduro smartwatch comes with GPS and all the top features you will find on a regular smartwatch, according to Cycling Weekly.

The features of the smartwatch like continuous heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation level, advanced sleep tracking and numerous other sensors and tools tailored towards enhancing health and wellbeing of the user. The watch can be paired with Android and iOS, as well as your smartphone.

The smartwatch also comes with a price tag of $799.99 for the steel model, but if you like to go for the titanium variant, you can get one for $899.99.

Garmin Forerunner 745

The Garmin Enduro is not the only smartwatch that can last for hours and hours, the Garmin Forerunner 745 has a battery life that can last for 1 week.

Garmin Forerunner 745 was unveiled in the United States in September 2020. The smartwatch also comes in four color options and has silicon straps. The wearable claims to be an advanced GPS smartwatch made for runners and for triathletes.

The smartwatch also offers detailed training data and on-device workouts. It is said to come with up to a week of battery life and it is compatible with Garmin Coach. The smartwatch offers free training plans that can adapt based to a runner's goals and performance.

The Garmin Forerunner 745 has a 1.2-inch or 240 x 240 pixels transflective display with Corning Gorilla Glass DX protection, according The Guardian.

The smartwatch is able to last for up to one week in smartwatch mode, up to six hours when you use the GPS with music and it can last up to 16 hours with GPS mode without music. It can also last up to 21 hours in UltraTrac mode and it has 5ATM or 50 meters water-resistance, which means you can use it while you swim.
