Apple would soon debut two "real" technology devices according to the recent analysis by Ming-Chi Kuo, which suggests that it would have a Mixed Reality Headset by 2022 and the AR Glasses by 2025. The popular and most valuable technology company in the world, Apple, has been long speculated to be developing the AR Glasses, but in the background, another tech was brewing and it would come earlier. Apple is known for keeping its releases secret and the company is strict when it comes to the revelation of their soon-releasing tech.

Apple's dive into Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technology may be later compared to several competitors including Samsung and Facebook, but it seems that the Cupertino giant has a lot in store. This means that people could have a lot to look forward to shortly, as the company aims to take everyone by surprise.

In a report by MacRumors, Ming-Chi Kuo suggested that Apple is working on another device that would give an additional virtual technology to the public and it would be in the form of a helmet or headset. Fusing Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, the next headset would be bringing people the best of both worlds.

The "hybrid" reality is said to be speculated longer than the AR Glasses and is now having a manifestation on Apple's research and development facilities, also looking to have an earlier release date. Apple's Mixed Reality Headset would be coming in 2022, and it would be in the form of a helmet that also incorporates sound and display.

The display is speculated to be using Sony's Micro-OLED and has an initial weight of 200-300 grams, but Kuo suggests that it aims to trim down to 100-200 grams as it releases its final version headset. Moreover, the speculations also suggest that it would be priced the same as "high-end iPhones" which are at $1000 and more.

LAS VEGAS, NV - JANUARY 03: Vlad Savov of New York takes a selfie wearing the ODG R-8 AR/VR smartglasses during a Qualcomm press event for CES 2017 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center on January 3, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. CES, the world's largest annual consumer technology trade show, runs from January 5-8 and is expected to feature 3,800 exhibitors showing off their latest products and services to more than 165,000 attendees.

The research note was discovered within Ming-Chi Kuo's report that was released on TF International Securities, and here it suggests that the more popular and awaited device, Apple's AR Glasses, is also coming. However, the past speculations have suggested that it would be somewhere around 2022 to 2023 but now pushed further back.

Initially, Apple is known to be focusing its technology on Augmented Reality and the AR Glasses were the star of the show, but it seems that the company needs more time for its development and release. The public would have to wait until 2025, which is less than four years from now, before having a first look.

*Note: All of the stated information above is based on leaks and speculations as Apple has not yet revealed any of the products officially.
